Twilight fans will be able to celebrate the film's 15th anniversary with a very special live event.

In honour of the milestone, the film is set to be screened at the Eventim Apollo in London on October 29, 2023 with a live rock orchestra playing along with composer Carter Burwell's score.

The organisers will be going all out to capture the spooky and ethereal vibe of the 2008 supernatural romance movie, decking out the Apollo with over 1,000 twinkling candles to light up the stage.

Twilight's score and soundtrack were a massive crossover success at the time of the original movie's release, with the soundtrack album debuting at number one on the Billboard charts in the US.

The soundtrack was curated by the film's music supervisor, Alexandra Patsavas, and featured major artists of the era, such as Muse ('Supermassive Black Hole'), Paramore ('Decode'), Linkin Park ('Leave Out All the Rest') and even a song from Robert Pattinson ('Let Me Sign').

With the 15th anniversary approaching, there have been retrospectives with behind-the-scenes revelations about the blockbuster, including Jennifer Lawrence admitting she was turned down for the role of Bella Swan.

"I didn't even get a callback [laughs]. But my life would've been totally different. I got Hunger Games I think, like, a year later," she remembered on The Rewatchables podcast.

The film version of author Stephenie Meyer's novel Twilight premiered in November 2008, and its $408.4 million box office haul spawned a multimedia franchise that will soon include a TV spinoff.
