Twilight actress Ashley Greene will revisit her vampire roots in an episode of The CW's Wild Cards.

Famed for playing Alice Cullen in the beloved bloodsucker franchise opposite Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, TVLine reports Greene has landed a guest role as television producer Wendy, whose cast "becomes the target of a dangerous stalker".

Wild Cards follows the con artist Max Mitchell (Riverdale's Vanessa Morgan) helping the police in order to keep herself out of prison, and demoted detective Cole Ellis (Grey's Anatomy star Giacomo Gianniotti). As for how they encounter Wendy, her vampire series just happens to be Max's favourite and she convinces the chief to let them both work on the case.

However, when "mysterious and potentially deadly mishaps" start to unfold on set, Max and Ellis become suspicious of everyone working there, including Wendy.

Per the synopsis, they'll need to "find the wannabe killer before he or she starts making their cryptic threats a reality".

Elsewhere on Greene's agenda is a lead part in the horror movie It Feeds, co-starring X-Men's Shawn Ashmore.

The plot concerns "a young girl who insists that a malevolent entity is feeding on her", while Greene is onboard as a "clairvoyant therapist who must confront her own personal demons to save the girl before she is taken completely [...] Ashmore takes on the role of the anguished father, desperately struggling to protect his daughter."
