Twin Cities Tap Festival rattles the floor with concerts and a showcase

Oct. 14—Dancers tap into the art of tap dance with concerts and a showcase at the Seventh Annual Twin Cities Tap Festival from Oct. 21 to 24.

It kicks off with the showcase at 7 p.m. Oct. 21, featuring local and emerging tap artists and ensembles, including this year's Elite Tap Feet — billed as some of the best teen tap dancers in Minnesota. The festival concerts at 7 p.m. Oct. 22 and 23 feature Jumaane Taylor's Supreme Love. The showcase and concerts are at The Cowles Center, 528 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis.

The festival wraps up at 6 p.m. on Oct. 24 with the Cutting Board, a live music and tap jam at Icehouse Minneapolis.
