Twin City Chamber hands out awards at annual banquet
DENNISON — A large crowd was on hand Tuesday for the Twin City Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Banquet, held at the Knights of Columbus in Dennison.
Award recipients included:
• Educator of the Year — Kristin Burrier, Indian Valley Port Washington Elementary.
• Business of the Year — Allure Hair Studio, Tori Smith, Mary Lou Dunlap and staff.
• Employee of the Year — Jimmy Maxwell, Claymont City Schools.
• Golden Apple — Jean Marino, Tuscarawas Central Catholic.
• Community Contribution — Bob Michels.
• Twin City Award — Martha Campbell.
$500 scholarship recipients:
• Jocelyn Scalambrino, Claymont High School, sponsored by Truck Sales and Bridges Excavating.
• Ellee Shepherd, Indian Valley High School, sponsored by Dover Phila Federal Credit Union.
• Adam Decaminada, Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School, sponsored by the First National Bank of Dennison.
• Olivia Swigert, Buckeye Career Center, sponsored by MHS Hardware and Material Handling Specialist.
