Twin Peaks restaurant, which boasts ‘scratch food’ and ‘29° beers’ planned for Jacksonville

Plans are in the works for a Jacksonville location of a restaurant chain that says it’s “so much more than your typical sports bar.”

Twin Peaks will occupy the building at 11892 Atlantic Boulevard, according to plans filed with the city of Jacksonville.

The building is near Kernan Boulevard and is right next to Jolibee.

The restaurant was previously home to a Johnny Carino’s Italian restaurant, which closed, and then Cinco De Mayo Mexican Restaurant, which moved its Jacksonville location down the street to the Harbour Place shopping center.

Twin Peaks says on its website it welcomes guests with “an environment reminiscent of a comfortable cabin in the mountains.” In addition to its signature 29-degree draft beer, it serves tacos, burgers, flatbreads and wings.

There are currently nine Twin Peaks locations in Florida -- three in the Orlando area, one in Fort Myers and five in South Florida.

Action News Jax has reached out to the company to find out the Jacksonville location’s opening date.
