Chris Brown set himself up for some mockery when he went to social media to congratulate Rihanna on the birth of her first child. According to XXL Mag, Brown faced the wrath of Rihanna’s fans after he posted a congratulatory message on his Instagram story.
“Congratulations,” the artist wrote, along with a heart, praying hands and a pregnant person emoji.
Rihanna’s supporters, however, haven’t forgiven Brown, who assaulted the Barbadian singer when the two were dating in 2009. Brown’s latest attempt to show cordiality only gave social media more reason to fire some jokes.

According to TMZ, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child on May 13 in Los Angeles. In January, the couple revealed a photoshoot to announce that they were expecting a child. The name of their child hasn’t yet been revealed to the public.
