Jaden Smith is being trolled on social media after a resurfaced clip from an old interview has gone viral.
In the video, Smith revealed growing up he preferred to hang out with adults, explaining most children his age did not like discussing politics and economics.
In a resurfaced clip from his BigBoyTV interview from 2018, Smith revealed that he enjoyed spending his childhood with more adults as he learned more from them.
“I am very happy that I spent my childhood with more adults than I did with kids my own age,” Jaden said. “because I was picking up more things from adults than I were [sic] from kids my own age.”

Smith said he wished young people of his age would enjoy talking about the political and economic state of the world.
“I’m just, like, ‘Dude, like, oh my God,” Smith said. “Can we talk about the political and economic state of the world right now? Can we talk about what’s going on in the environment? Can we talk about other things?”
He would later confess that despite enjoying loud music and turning up from time to time, he is most concerned with finding the next thing.
Somehow the video clip has recently resurfaced and Twitter users have seemingly made light of Smith’s grown-up approach to life.
Several users came up with reenactments of a young Smith during his childhood.

Some users were sympathetic to Smith, feeling sorry for his lack of childhood.
Jaden smith obviously doesn’t understand being a kid ! That’s the problem you have more than enough time to start worrying about these ADULT issues that will always be there ..enjoying your childhood won’t !!!!! https://t.co/IXcat9tYdK

Dear Jaden Smith, it’s cute that u think children should engage in deep reflections about politics, economics, & climate changes on play dates.
Luckily, ure absolutely wrong.
It’s so sad that you were testifying to being deprived of a normal childhood but don’t even know it. pic.twitter.com/qARwEodlOM

I like Jaden Smith but not having a childhood and worrying about adult things when you’re a minor is not a flex at all. 💀
When I was a minor my worries were keeping my grades up so I can continue playing video games and not have my TV and PS2 taken away.

And say what? It’s bad? Jaden Smith is that weird socially awkward kid that you just know had his childhood robbed and then tries to justify it by “presenting himself as being smarter than other kids in his generation” and tries to be that overly mature kid. 🙄 AKA annoying af. https://t.co/3pIOKpne5V

Some users acknowledge that Smith comes from a wealthy background and chose not to engage in trolling.
Absolutely no one:

I’m not gonna make fun of Jaden Smith for thinking he’s better than me. He was born rich and beautiful with rich and beautiful parents. He IS better than me.

People making fun of jaden smith for saying he wants to talk about politics and improving the world…. Bc he was born wealthy, acts and has some type of musical career….. so what he can’t still be knowledgeable?

The trolling comes after his father, Will Smith, was chastised for his notorious Oscars 2022 slap, which Jaden appeared to justify.
