Twitter Explodes Over Jack Harlow 'Manifesting' Relationship With Dua Lipa

Shooting his shot through a song allegedly landed Kentucky artist Jack Harlow in the arms of his new girlfriend, Dua Lipa.

Their friendship timeline foreshadows the latest speculation of the two dating each other. Earlier this year, Harlow released an album featuring a track named after the British-Albanian pop star after calling her for clearance.

Harlow shared that the call was far from being a smooth transaction; with Lipa giving him a somewhat awkward response, she gave him a nod.

According to Page Six, things took a turn for the two after meeting in person in November at the Variety Hitmakers Brunch. Sources said Lipa has become captivated with her new boo and has been in “constant communication” ever since the event.

Another source close to Harlow said Harlow had his eyes set on the singer for some time.

“He was very interested in her and was going to strongly pursue [the romance],” a source told Page Six. “He is going to do his best, as he has always been a fan of her.”

Past rumors linked the two together in New York City following her Z100 Jingle Ball appearance on Dec. 9.

According to StyleCast, Harlow and Lipa haven’t publicly announced their relationship. Going the extra mile to keep it hidden, they walk through private entrances when available and leave separately.

Lipa and Trevor Noah recently split but were photographed hugging after dinner at Miss Lily’s in New York in September.

“They haven’t spoken since,” a source close to Lipa said, Page Six reports.

The new connection didn’t sit well with social media as users on Twitter wrote hefty opinions questioning how Harlow ended up with a woman who isn’t Black after he mentioned loving Black women on several occasions.

“Jack Harlow talks about how much he loves Black women yet makes songs simping over white women (Dua Lipa) and has never been seen in public with a black girlfriend, lol. He’s one of the many white guys who declare their love for bw but would never be seen in public with one,” one user tweeted.

“All the Black women that were simpin’ over Jack Harlow. Meanwhile, he got his eyes set on Dua Lipa. STAND UP,” another tweeted.

“He masterfully pandered to the most gullible group of women to gain a following, then went back to the type of women he really wanted,” a tweet reads.

Others defend Harlow acknowledging the artist can have a preference which is Black women, and end up with someone who is not.
