Twitter reacts to Cade McNamara transfer to Iowa
Michigan football lost its Ohio State-beating, Big Ten-winning team captain via the transfer portal to start the week.
On Thursday, we learned his destination.
Cade McNamara helped revitalize the culture in Ann Arbor from a player perspective, but he lost his job to sophomore J.J. McCarthy after Week 2 this year. In the following game, McNamara was injured and lost for the season. He spent the bulk of the year rehabbing after having surgery in California.
While he was somewhat of a contentious player for Michigan, most are grateful for his contributions to the team on the playing field and off.
