Twitter reacts: Carson Wentz has a chance to help the Colts and fails

A lot of Indianapolis Colts fans can't forgive Carson Wentz for how last season ended ‒ two dud performances that took the Colts out of the AFC playoffs.

The team traded him in the offseason, but he's still disappointing Colts fans.

Wentz and the Washington Commanders were driving toward a go-ahead touchdown late Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Wentz threw an interception at the goal line in the closing seconds, and the Titans won 21-17.

Trade terms:Will the Colts get a 2nd-round pick from Washington?

Had Washington won, the Colts ‒ even at 2-2-1 ‒ would be leading the AFC South. The Titans are 3-2. The Jacksonville Jaguars (2-3) have lost three in a row after shutting out the Colts. They lost to the Houston Texans (1-3-1) 13-6 on Sunday.

The Colts next two opponents: the Jaguars at home, and at the Titans.

Of course, Wentz still has games against the Colts and Texans, so he has plenty more chances to stir memories for Colts fans.
