It's been a long, long time since Vanderbilt last won an SEC game. But that changed today against the Kentucky football team.
Before today's game, Vanderbilt's most recent SEC victory came on Oct. 19, 2019, against Missouri. Since that day, the Commodores have gone 0-26 in conference play.

Let me be blunt... Give Joker Philips, (even as bad of a head coach at Kentucky as he was), this same team but with his coaching staff, he wins this one. That is a terrible but accurate thing to say. This is not a rebuke of Coach Stoops tenure, but it is of this game.

I can’t even be mad tbh. 6-6 is the historical good season for Kentucky. Mark Stoops is still the best coach we’ve ever had. It is what it is, just disappointing.

Kentucky is overrated. Been saying it all year long. Will Levis is overrated. Mark Stoops is barely above .500 as a coach and is overrated. Kentucky is still Kentucky.

The last 6 years have been awesome for Kentucky football, but the program has probably the most important off-season of Stoops tenure coming up.
Have to find a new QB, probably a new OC, fix the offensive line, figure out NIL and keep your star freshmen here.
