Amid the whirlwind of Ben Affleck’s rekindled romance with now-wife Jennifer Lopez, Twitter has unearthed Affleck’s hidden ability to speak Spanish.

Clips of Affleck speaking Spanish fluently have been resurfacing online, with many viewers shocked at his accent.

“Ben Affleck speaks Spanish like if he were raised in Tijuana,” one user wrote.

“Ben Affleck speaking Spanish is so—,” another added.

One user shared a clip of Affleck wishing Lopez a happy marriage to her then-fiance Alex Rodriguez.

While discussing Affleck’s Spanish skills on E! Entertainment’s Nightly Pop, host Nina Parker asked one of the show’s cameramen to share his take on Affleck’s fluency.

“He’s not bad but he’s mixing different accents,” the camerman explained, telling Parker’s co-host Hunter March that he’s blending different dialects from Spain, Puerto Rico, and other nations that speak Spanish.
