Two adults, one child killed when semi strikes vehicle in Ross County

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (WCMH) — Two adults and a child were killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Ross County.

About 4:30 p.m., a semi was heading westbound on U.S. 35 in Richmond Dale when a 2018 Nissan Rogue traveling eastbound attempted to turn left onto Main Street, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported. Troopers say the Nissan failed to yield, was struck by the semi and forced off the right side of the road, where it struck a guardrail and a tree.

The driver of the semi was uninjured.
