Two area women advance in Face of Horror online competition

Sep. 23—Two women from the region advanced to the next round of voting Thursday evening in the Face of Horror online competition.

E.D. Crouser, of Endicott, was in first place in her group when the field was cut from 20 people to 15 on Thursday night. In a separate group, Llashea Rush, of Lewiston, stands in fifth place.

The next round of voting, which ends Thursday, will trim each group to 10 people. Crouser's page can be found at bit.ly/3Ut1Iu4 while Rush's page can be found at bit.ly/3BBFb60.

There will be six more rounds of voting after this, and the winner will be determined Nov. 10. The winner will receive $13,000, a movie role, a two-night stay at Buffalo Bill's house from the film "The Silence of the Lambs" and be involved in a photoshoot for Rue Morgue Magazine, according to faceofhorror.org.
