Two men were arrested in connection with a homicide investigation tied to a man found dead in his Indio home in December.

Indio Police Department officers were dispatched to the home, on the 45900 block of Duquesne Street, around 3 a.m. on Dec. 13, 2021, where Alejandro Lupercio, 24 of Indio, was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

The death was determined to be a homicide and the subsequent investigation resulted in the arrests of Christian Brooks Andrade, 20 of La Quinta, and Adrian Vega, 22 of Coachella. Andrade was booked into the John Benoit Detention Center in Indio and Vega into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside, Indio police officials announced Saturday.

Both Andrade and Vega are being held on $1,000,000 bail.
