Two boys stabbed outside Brooklyn housing project

Two boys were stabbed outside a Brooklyn housing project Thursday, police said.

The young victims, one 11 and the other 13, were outside the Gowanus Houses on Baltic St. near Bond St. in Gowanus when they were attacked just before 2:50 p.m., police said.

One of the boys was stabbed at a basketball court at the Nicholas Naquan Heyward Jr. Park inside the complex, sources said.

Medics rushed both children to Maimonides Hospital where they were listed in stable condition.

A bloodied orange T-shirt remained on the pavement outside one of the entrances to the park later Thursday evening as detectives investigated a box cutter and wooden-handled knife ditched near the scene.

There were no immediate arrests as police worked to track down their attacker.
