Two-car crash takes place in Elmira Thursday evening

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – A two-car crash temporarily blocked an intersection in the city of Elmira Thursday evening.

Two cars crashed at the intersection of Franklin Street and Fulton Street in Elmira at about 6:35 p.m. on Jan. 25. According to an 18 News reporter at the scene, a black vehicle could be seen with extensive damage to the front of the car. The front and back windshield also had severe damage.

One utility pole down after one vehicle crash in West Elmira

Elmira Fire Department and the Elmira Police Department were on the scene as well as Erway ambulance. Gary’s Towing was also arriving at the scene.

It is unknown if there were any injuries as a result of the crash.
