"Laundry & Bourbon" and "Lonestar": Two comedies in one show presented by Aberdeen Community Theatre. Today, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m., Capitol Theatre, 417 S. Main St. In "Laundry & Bourbon," on the front porch of Roy and Elizabeth’s home in Texas, Elizabeth and her friend Hattie are folding laundry, watching TV, sipping bourbon and Coke, and gossiping about small-town life. They are joined by the self-righteous Amy Lee, who can’t resist blurting out some juicy gossip. In "Lonestar," in the backyard of a bar, Roy, a macho type who was once a high school hero, is joined by his younger brother, Ray. Roy sets about consuming a case of beer while regaling Ray with tales of his military and amorous exploits. With the arrival of Cletis, the underpinnings of Roy’s world begin to collapse as Ray reveals a terrible secret. Tickets at the door or online at https://ci.ovationtix.com/35688.
