Two dead in Murray County crash
Oct. 30—The Georgia State Patrol has confirmed two fatalities in a single-vehicle crash that occurred on Brown Bridge Road in Murray County on Sunday, Oct. 29.
"The driver of a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west," GSP public information officer Konswello Monroe stated in an email, "when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree."
Two individuals — 44-year-old Nathan Phyfe and 40-year-old Channa Powell — were both pronounced dead at the scene.
As of publication time, GSP representatives indicated that a full crash report was not yet available.
