ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) says a husband and wife couple are being accused of stealing more than $10,000 from Chical Haystack, a local farm supply business south of Albuquerque.

A grand jury indictment filed in federal court claims Frank Joe Hernandez and Eva Ann Hernandez worked together to steal cash from the business in 2023. The grand jury indictment says Eva stood watch near the cash register while Frank stole around $10,410 in checks and cash from the back office.
