Two fail, one restaurant closed in latest Arlington health inspections

Two restaurants failed and one was closed in the latest Arlington health inspections, according to city data.

There were 52 inspections from May 21-27.

Arlington inspections are based on a 100-point system. A score of 100 is perfect and a score of 70 is considered to be extremely poor. The city data does not include details of the violations.

Ding Tea Cooper at 1302 S. Cooper St. received a score of 85 but was temporarily closed.

Two restaurants failed and received scores of 75 or less:

  • Ba Le Restaurant at 2240 Browning Drive, 59

  • Famous Cajun Grill at 3811 S. Cooper St. Suite 2154, 70

Re-inspections are required for restaurants that score 75 or less.

Las Marias at 710 E. Sublett Road Suite 111 received a score of 85 and was the only restaurant that had a follow-up inspection.
