Two gored in Pamplona bull run

STORY: The gorings were the first since the running of the bulls kicked off on Wednesday (July 6).

Four others were taken to hospital due to concussions and injuries due to falls.

The world famous event, which attracts thousands of thrill-seekers, was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Participant Blake Titus said it was terrifying, while U.S. runner Cross Thompson , from Paragould, Arkansas, said it was the "best 30 seconds of my life".

There are eight runs in total, usually lasting between three and five minutes

They end at the bull ring where animals are later killed in a bullfight.

Animal rights groups want the event banned.
