The holiday shopping season may be over, but a summer shopping spree may be just around the corner.

Tulare Outlets is bringing three new businesses, two of which could make shopping for your significant other much easier. Kate Spade and Michael Kors will open outlet spaces in Tulare by July. Rocket Fizz, the fun soda pop and candy spot, will join high-end retailers.

The three retailers will take over 9,000 square feet of storefronts.

“These new retailers are going to be a big draw for our region and bring even more business to the area,” said Madalyn Souza, marketing manager at the Tulare Outlets. “Plus, our community will enjoy the great deals and styles offered.”

Rocket Fizz, which will open first, carries thousands of unique and hard-to-find candies, bottled sodas, gag gifts and toys, nostalgic tin signs, and dozens of trinkets. The store is expected to open between Journeys and O’Neill surf shop by the end of March.

Even if you don't have a sweet tooth, Kate Spade will help bring some smiles.

Since its launch in 1993 with a collection of just six handbags, "Kate Spade New York has always stood for optimistic femininity," and outlet stores have kept the mid-level luxury line blooming.

Today, the brand is a global lifestyle house with handbags, ready-to-wear fashion, jewelry, footwear, gifts, home décor and more. The store is expected to open on May 31, between Kay Jewelers and Columbia Factory Store.

Michael Kors is a world-renowned, award-winning designer of luxury accessories and ready-to-wear clothing lines. The store will open on July 25 next to Kate Spade Outlet.

Both Kate Spade New York and Michael Kors Outlet will offer significant outlet pricing of 30-70% off regular retail pricing, Souza said. They will join their sister Coach store, owned by Tapestry, the parent company of all three brands, along with famous names such as Jimmy Choo, Versace, and Stuart Weitzman.

"Tapestry is an organization with a passion for building enduring brands through superior design and craftsmanship and an unwavering focus on our customers," CEO Joanne Crevoiserat said after an $8.5 billion deal last fall to buy Michael Kors.
