HOLLAND TWP. — Deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office responded to a multi-car crash on U.S.-31 north of 16th Street in Holland Township on Saturday, Aug. 13.

Investigation on-scene showed that — shortly after 6 p.m. — a 38-year-old Holland resident was traveling south on U.S.-31 in a 2007 Toyota when they began to hydroplane due to heavy rain in the area.

The driver of the Toyota was transported to Holland Hospital by AMR Ambulance with serious injuries. The driver of the Dodge was transported to Holland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
