Two injured in crash at a Murdock, Minnesota, intersection

— Two drivers were injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at a snow- and ice-covered intersection in the city of Murdock.

According to the

Minnesota State Patrol,

Susana Guadal Camacho Jiminez, 38, of Benson, and Domonique Lynn McPhail, 22, of Murdock, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash reported at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and Jana Street.

Jiminez's passenger, Joseph John Devaan, 63, of Graff, was not injured.

According to the State Patrol, Jiminez was transported to CentraCare — Benson Hospital for treatment and McPhail was transported to CentraCare — Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

According to the

crash report,

Jiminez was driving a GMC Terrain westbound on U.S. Highway 12 as McPhail was driving south on Jana Street in a 2016 Ford Explorer. The two vehicles then collided at the intersection.

All involved were wearing their seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the State Patrol. Road conditions were reported as snowy and icy at the time of the collision.
