Two Injured After Fire Breaks Out in Queens Apartment Building

One civilian and one firefighter suffered minor injuries after a two-alarm fire broke out in an apartment building in Queens, New York, on Thursday, July 28, according to local news.

This footage uploaded to Twitter by user Joan Caste shows the flames and clouds of black smoke billowing into the sky in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens.

According to local news, the flames broke out at 3 pm. The FDNY said the fire was “under control” at 4 pm.
