Two killed in crash in Caldwell County
Mar. 31—Two people from Jefferson City, Missouri, died in a crash Friday morning two miles south of Polo, Missouri.
Zemriya Bright, 23, was traveling north in a 2008 Ford Focus on Missouri Route 13 at about 11 a.m. when she lost control and the vehicle slid into the southbound lanes, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
The Ford Focus was struck by a 1999 Dodge 1500 and came to rest off the west side of the roadway, according to the report.
Both Bright and occupant Ezra Schnieders, 23, were pronounced dead at the scene by the Caldwell County coroner, according to crash reports. The driver of the Dodge was not injured.
