Two FEMA centers set to close next week

Two FEMA disaster recovery centers in Lafourche and Terrebonne are set to permanently close next week.

The centers in Cut Off is set to close Tuesday and the center in Montegut will close its doors Wednesday, the agency said.

Residents in parishes affected by Hurricane Ida can continue to visit other FEMA centers in the area to meet face-to-face with specialists and have their questions answered.

All centers follow COVID-19 precautions and masks are required.
