Two lanes of I-10 eastbound in Gulfport will be closed for hours after 5-vehicle crash

Two lanes of travel on Interstate 10 near the Long Beach-Gulfport line will be closed for about five hours after a crash involving five vehicles.

Mississippi Highway Patrol is on the scene and said the wreck involved a semi-truck that flipped on its side. Cargo from inside the 18-wheeler spewed onto the side of the interstate. A Chevy Silverado truck and Honda car were also involved, photos from MHP show.

Debris from the crash will also be cleaned from the roadway.

Two people sustained injuries in the crash on I-10 eastbound near mile marker 30, which is in between the Long Beach and Canal Road exits.
