🌱 Two Manorville Teenagers Go Missing From Train Station

Two teenagers from Manorville are missing and believed to be in Manhattan. A funeral for a police officer will take place in Ronkonkoma today.

  1. Two teenagers from Manorville have been missing since last Thursday. Vincent Abolafia and his girlfriend, Kaileigh Catalano, both 15, were last seen at the Ronkonkoma LIRR station planning to take a 3:11 p.m. train to Manhattan. They may have been seen in Times Square. (Patch)

  2. A fire in Mt. Sinai on Saturday was put out by local firefighters and no injuries were reported. The fire broke out on Jessica Lane just after 1 p.m. (Patch)

  3. A road closure is scheduled for Monday in Ronkonkoma for the funeral of Nassau County Police Officer Hector Nunez who died from COVID-19. Portion Road will be closed in both directions between Holbrook Road and Avenue A from 9 a.m. to noon. (Patch)

  4. Gingerbread University, a shop where families can build gingerbread houses, has reopened in a new location. Previously in Riverhead, the store is open now until the end of December at the Shoppes at East Wind. (Northforker)
