Two men arrested after pulling guns inside La Quinta restaurant, sheriff says

Two Coachella Valley men were arrested days after pulling guns on diners at a restaurant in La Quinta, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Ramiro Diaz, 24, of Desert Hot Springs, and Nicholas Diaz, 22, of Indio, were arrested Saturday in Desert Hot Springs and Coachella. The two are suspected to have entered an unspecified restaurant in the 79800 block of Highway 111 in La Quinta on April 2, and pointed firearms at the people inside, including a 3-year-old child. No one was injured.

Deputies seized three firearms during the arrests. The two were booked into the John Benoit Detention Center in Indio for assault with a deadly weapon.
