Two men injured in collision crash Wednesday

Nov. 9—One man was seriously injured and another sustained moderate injuries in a crash Wednesday evening in DeKalb County.

Brian J. Johnson, 43, of Clarksdale, Missouri, and Vincent Donald D. Hensen, 41, of Cameron, Missouri, were both westbound on U.S. Highway 36 around 5:24 p.m., five miles east of Osborn, Missouri.

Hensen's 2011 Chevrolet Malibu struck Johnson's 2001 Toyota Camry and traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a culvert. Johnson went off the road and overturned multiple times before coming to rest in the median on its wheels, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Johnson was taken to Mosaic Life Care for serious injuries, and Hensen was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center for moderate injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the report said.
