Two men shot early Thanksgiving at large house party in South Kitsap

Two men were shot at “a large house party” in South Kitsap early Thanksgiving morning.

Kitsap County sheriff's deputies were called at 2:45 a.m. Thursday to a residence on the 11000 block of Butler Avenue in Parkview Terrace. The neighborhood is near the intersection of Sidney Road and Lakeway Boulevard.

In a social media post, detectives described the condition of the two who were shot as “stable.”

Sheriff’s office spokesman Sgt. Ken Dickinson said the party was attended by people in their 20s. An argument broke out at the party, resulting in gunfire.

The two men who were shot are in their early 20s. They were taken to Tacoma General Hospital for treatment, Dickinson said.

Before deputies arrived several of the people at the party left the scene. No arrests have been made.
