Two Neenah High School students injured after their bus tipped over Wednesday night

Two Neenah High School students were sent to the hospital when a bus tipped over after a school trip Wednesday night, according to Jim Strick, communications director for the Neenah Joint School District.

The bus, which carried 22 students from the school, was on its way back from a Ski Club trip to Nordic Mountain, a ski resort in Wild Rose.

The bus slid off the road in foggy and icy conditions and tipped over on its side around 8:45 p.m. in Waushara County, Strick said.

None of the students were seriously injured. Two were sent to the hospital for minor injuries and later left with their parents, Strick said. Meanwhile, the school district sent another bus to pick up the students. Everyone made it home safely later that night.
