Two no longer sought for questioning in fatal April shooting

Two men are no longer wanted for questioning in a fatal April shooting, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.

Glenn Richard Tedder, 56, of Fayetteville, and Joshua David McQuage, 34, of Raeford, are no longer sought for questioning in the April 16 death of Timothy Shannon, 33, according to a news release. Shannon was killed in the 3300 block of King Charles Road off Camden Road about 10:30 p.m., the release said.

Tedder's son, Glenn Richard Tedder II, 35, was arrested on a charge of first-degree murder June 8 in Shannon’s death. Tedder remained in the Cumberland County jail as of Tuesday morning with bail set at $750,000 secured, according to jail records.
