On Feb. 8, Northwestern Wayne FFA competed at GlenOak High School in the Public Speaking CDE, taking a fourth and a fifth place.

Jamison Gilbert delivered a Beginning Prepared speech about world hunger. He wrote a speech that had to be six-eight minutes long, and had to be informative as well as creative.

Jake Howman recited the FFA Creed from memory and then answered questions about it.

Gilbert placed fifth and Howman placed fourth.
