Mustang Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2022

The Mustang Public Schools Athletic Department has announced the 2022 Athletics Hall of Fame Class. Five individuals were chosen by the Mustang Athletics Hall of Fame selection committee.

This year’s inductees are:

  • Bill Allen — Community Supporter - Football and Wrestling.

  • Dave Rankin — Head Coach Wrestling and Tennis.

  • Lori (Ross) Schneider — Basketball, Softball and Tennis.

  • Regina (Davis) Tisdell — Basketball and Softball.

Putnam City District Athletics Hall of Fame class of 2022

Putnam City District Athletic Department has announced the 2022 Athletics Hall of Fame inductees from three Putnam City District high schools.

This year’s inductees are:

Putnam City High School

  • Andrew Heaney — Baseball

  • Kelly Phelps — Football

  • Bill Watts — Football

  • Coach Jerry Potter — Football

Putnam City North

  • Trent Fisher — Football and Basketball

  • John Fitzgerald — Football and Track and Field

  • Jennifer (Hall) O’Dell — Tennis

  • Coach Bob Wilson — Football

Putnam City West

  • Ashli (Barrett) Wigington — Softball and Basketball

  • Steve Neff — Basketball

  • Johnny Thompson — Wrestling

  • Scott Tinsley — Football, Basketball and Baseball

Additionally, for the first time, a special group will be inducted together. The inaugural group will be the Vann family from Putnam City. The Vann family spread their talents across the three major sports for Putnam City and beyond. The family members include Bryatt Vann, Bryce Vann, Bruce Vann, Brandy Vann and Brento Vann.
