Two people charged with murder from January shooting in Concord: Police

CONCORD, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two people have been charged with murder in connection to a homicide in Concord, according to the Concord Police Department.

Jeramie Stefaun Forrest, 33, was shot and killed on Jan. 28, 2024, near the intersection of American Avenue NE and Madison Avenue NE.

44-year-old Alfred Jerome Glascoe, of Kannapolis, was arrested on Feb. 13 and charged with murder and possession of marijuana, officials said. He is being held without bond in the Cabarrus County Jail.

Additionally, 20-year-old Osyris Jimal Burnett, of Kershaw, South Carolina, was arrested on the same day with the same charges. However, he is in custody in S.C. and currently awaiting extradition on these charges.
