These two pets at Wayside will satisfy all your cravings. Meet Taco Belle and Oreo

Oreo

Breed: Australian cattle dog mix

Age: 1 year old

Meet the sweetest boy around: Oreo. He is one smart cookie. He’s something of a brainiac and loves to learn.

Oreo was surrendered to Wayside Waifs after his owner could no longer care for him, and since then he was enrolled in our Canine Behavior Center to show him some stability, trust in humans and manners. He has not only thrived in his program, but he’s enjoyed learning so much.

But don’t worry — he isn’t all about work. He also enjoys toys. He can fetch Frisbees, balls — you name it, he’ll catch it. He also has time for some cuddles after a long day of mental and physical exercise. All Oreo has ever wanted is to be a family dog. Can you make his dream come true? Come meet this adorable man today.

Taco Belle

Breed: Domestic shorthair mix

Age: 1 year old

Taco Belle is here to cure your midnight craving for a new friend. She and her newborn kittens were originally transferred to Wayside Waifs from a partner shelter in Dallas.

They were all sent to foster homes so they could relax in a calmer environment. Taco Belle was a wonderful mom to her babies, but she is ready to find her forever family. Her foster parent said Belle thrived in their home. She lived with two kids under the age of 10 and did well with them. She enjoyed being close to everyone and liked exploring the house.

Her favorite pastime was lying in sun spots near the windows. She was a very friendly and easygoing cat. Sounds pretty awesome right? If Taco Belle sounds like the one for you, please feel free to pull up to the first window and come meet her.
