Two Queens cops injured in crash while responding to emergency

Two Queens cops were injured in a crash while responding to an emergency, authorities said Sunday.

The NYPD marked SUV crashed into another vehicle on 35th St. and 37th Ave. in Astoria about 11:10 p.m. Saturday, police said. The cops had their lights and siren on when they crashed.

Two officers were taken to Elmhurst Hospital with minor injuries.

Two civilians were also hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, PIX11 reported.
