Two receive scholarships from Monroe Plumbers, Pipefitters union
Jenna Ruettinger of Monroe and Claire Molnar of Blissfield were recently awarded $2,000 scholarships from UA Local 671 Plumbers and Pipefitters in Monroe.
Jenna is a 2023 graduate of Monroe High School, where she worked with the Interact and Younglife clubs and was also a CTE Ambassador. She is attending the University of Michigan’s nursing program. She is the daughter of Kelly and Tammera Ruettinger of Monroe.
Claire is a 2023 graduate of Britton Deerfield High School, where she volunteered with American Red Cross blood drives and served breakfast at the Deerfield VFW Hall. She is attending Adrian College and will be majoring in elementary education. She is the daughter of Jeff and Casey Molnar.

The scholarships were funded by the union’s scholarship and benevolence fund.
