Two Red Wing men injured in single-vehicle crash

Sep. 30—WELSH TOWNSHIP, Minn. — Two Red Wing men were injured in a single vehicle crash on Highway 61 and Highway 316 on Friday afternoon, Sept. 29.

A 2016 Honda CRV was traveling southbound on Highway 316 when the car entered the roundabout at Highway 61 and then left the roadway.

The Honda driver, 58-year-old Garret Lee Decker of Red Wing, had non-life threatening injuries. He was transported to Mayo Clinic Health Systems Red Wing Hospital.

An 84-year-old passenger, John Harold Decker of Red Wing, was also in the vehicle during the crash, according to the report. He was transported to Mayo Clinic Health Systems Red Wing Hospital.

Miesville Fire Department, Red Wing Fire and Ambulance Departments and Goodhue County Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene.
