On Tuesday, December 26, two Russian warships left the seaport area of ​​occupied Feodosia following the destruction of the landing ship Novocherkassk at the port, Krym.Realii reports.

According to the correspondent of Krym.Realii, due to the poor visibility and the long distance, it was not possible to identify the ships. However, judging by the size, there was one larger and one smaller military ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

Earlier, the Center of National Resistance reported that the Russians surrounded the central areas of temporarily occupied Feodosia.

On the night of December 26, powerful explosions thundered in Feodosia near the port. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that the Ukrainian aviation hit the large Russian amphibious assault ship Novocherkask with cruise missiles, destroying it.

The Novocherkask is a ship of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, designed for the landing of naval amphibious assaults and the transfer of troops and cargo across the sea. It is capable of transporting 480 tons of cargo — various types of armored vehicles, including tanks.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces had previously damaged the Novocherkassk in March 2022, when they destroyed another ship in the port of occupied Berdyansk, the BDK Saratov.
