Two new teams in, two out in The Fresno Bee’s latest high school football rankings

Edison and Redwood are no longer in The Fresno Bee high school football rankings after starting the season at 0-2.

For the second week in a row, Edison was routed. This time by No. 15 Central Valley Christian.

The Cavaliers steamrolled the Tigers 41-12. A week before, Edison lost to No. 23 Kennedy 64-24.

Edison will look to start its climb back with a win over El Diamante, also 0-2.

Redwood had started the season ranked No. 20 by The Bee, but found itself out after a loss to No. 2 Clovis North as part of a rough stretch of football to start the season.

The Rangers played the Broncos tough, losing 21-6. Redwood had opened with No. 6 Centennial.

Redwood can make its case to climb right back in the rankings with a win over Tulare Union on Friday. Same for the Tribe, who are on the outside looking in at the rankings.

As usual, the Top 25 has a bit of a different look, starting with No. 4 Clovis West moving up one spot after a win over Turlock.

Speaking of moving up a spot, Sanger now is at No. 9 after a 33-21 victory over No. 13 Clovis.

Buchanan took a little fall after a late field goal gave it one in the loss column. The Bears are now No. 11.

No. 22 Stockdale enters the rankings after defeating Kennedy 31-22 and Mission Oak comes in at No. 25 after a 49-6 victory over Taft.

Both teams are 2-0.

Here are the rest of the rankings:
