Two transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after crash near Northwood

Apr. 27—NORTHWOOD, N.D. — Two people were transported to the hospital after a crash near Northwood, North Dakota on Tuesday, April 26.

According to a news release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Wade Bilden, 64 of Northwood, was driving west on North Dakota Highway 15. He was slowing and preparing to make a left turn from Highway 15 and was struck from the rear by a 2016 GMC Terrain, driven west on Highway 15 by Joshua Walter, 41 of Aneta. Bilden and Walter were both transported by ambulance to Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash occurred around 4:50 p.m. on North Dakota Highway 15 at intersection with North Dakota Highway 18, approximately 2 miles west of Northwood.

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.

The NDHP, Grand Forks County Sheriff's Office, Northwood Police Department, Northwood Fire & Rescue and Northwood Ambulance responded to the crash.
