Oklahoma City Thunder guard Ty Jerome will not participate in media day, per Royce Young.

Jerome and the Thunder are working together to determine his future with the team.

The 25-year-old is entering his fourth season in the league and third with the Thunder. In 112 career games, Jerome has averaged 7.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists on 37.8 percent shooting.

The Thunder acquired Jerome in the Chris Paul trade with the Phoenix Suns.

With the Thunder having plenty of young guards on the roster, the writing is on the wall that Jerome will likely not receive consistent rotation minutes for the team this season as he tries to get a second contract.
