Imagine telling someone about one of your dreams but instead of simply analyzing how pleasant, wild, weird, or even scary it was, you got a mood board to inspire your next home redesign. Well, HomeGoods is making that a reality with a new digital experience dubbed HomeGoods Dream Vibes. The Bachelorette alum and contractor Tyler Cameron was the first to try it out and revamp his Jupiter, Florida, home based on the results.

For Cameron, tapping into one of his happiest reveries—a huge gathering full of his favorite people set in his Florida home—made the most sense. “When I'm in New York, I dream about being in Florida,” he tells House Beautiful. “When I'm here, I dream about having my friends and family over. People are coming in and out of the house—eating hot dogs, burgers, and potato salad and just having a good time. I love entertaining. I love hanging out. I love being at home in Jupiter with my people.”

The experience involves three easy steps. Once you head to the website, you’ll be prompted to enter any dream you’ve had via a 30-second voice recording or typed paragraph of up to 500 words. After that, you answer a few multiple-choice questions about your dream, like where it took place and how it made you feel. Once that’s all set, your dream is translated by the IBM Natural Language Understanding algorithm to give you a mood board full of textures, colors, shapes, and decor details inspired by it. There are more than 3 million possible results, so the mood board is truly tailored to your specific dream.

Cameron's dream vibe—Popcorn and PJs, Please—is all about togetherness. So, he revamped the living room, backyard, and his bedroom with inviting accents and cozy features. The suggested color palette features soothing blues and warm tones that he paired with pops of yellow to balance his need for a calming yet energetic environment.

He incorporated coastal-inspired details throughout, like gold koi fish wall decor and a surfboard coffee table in the living room. The look is elevated with luxe leather furniture, including the living room sofa and a bench in his bedroom, where he also got creative by using two mounted shelves as a headboard. Outside, a blue sectional along with bright yellow seating and side tables make it possible to comfortably spend time around the fire.

One of the pieces he’s most excited about? The brass bar cart in the living room. “It has a neon sign and all of these great little decor items that really make this a fun space,” he gushes. Not to mention, it’s essential for easily whipping up fun drinks, like cucumber mint lemonade with a splash of vodka in the summertime.

Prior to overhauling these areas, they weren’t super functional for entertaining. The lack of seating in the living room left people sitting on the floor. The outdoor area practically had no furniture to hang out on. Now, they can accommodate more people and are truly areas he wants to spend time in. “When the sun's out, I'm outside on my laptop doing work,” says Cameron, who's passionate about building homes for families through his construction business. “It's cool being in a setting that draws so much inspiration for me, and I'm so excited to share that with everybody.”

After transforming his own interiors, Cameron plans to use the HomeGoods Dream Vibes experience to design another Jupiter home he plans to rent out on Airbnb and to inspire new decor details in his New York apartment. "It's so easy to use," he adds. "It was spot on and helped me create a vision, so I was able to go to the store and get everything I needed."

If you lack inspiration for a decor refresh—or want to give your home a total makeover—you can tap into your dreams here for the mood board you never knew you needed.
