U.S. 6 Reopened Through Clear Creek Canyon After Rescue Operation

The Colorado Department of Transportation closed part of Highway 6 in Clear Creek Canyon Saturday.

- Now with the warm weather, more people are getting outdoors and some got into some sticky situations.

Two climbers were rescued from Clear Creek Canyon this morning around 11:30. Copter four flew over the area, and you can see crews are bringing the first climber down and putting them onto a flight for life helicopter. It took that climber to St. Anthony's. Now the second climber was pulled down about a half an hour later. We're waiting for official word on how badly they were both hurt.
