U.S., allies conduct 25 strikes against Islamic State: U.S. military
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States and its allies targeted Islamic State militants in Iraq with 16 strikes on Friday and nine in Syria, the U.S. military said on Saturday. Four of the strikes in Iraq were near Mosul, hitting two Islamic State tactical units and command and control nodes.
