U of M extension kicks off free virtual 4-H series

Apr. 13—Minnesota youth are invited to a range of online classes.

Starting Sunday, grades K-6 can engage in hands-on learning exercises in topics ranging from weather to puppies to gross science.

Each course provides interactive games and youth discussions. All classes are free, and many call for supplies that can be found around the home.

4-H is the University of Minnesota Extension youth development program, which aims to help teach decision-making, problem-solving, coping and communicating skills.
